Quick answer
There is a single terminal. Check-in is on the ground floor in Zones A to D. Security is on the first floor. After security, the main departure lounge leads to gates 40 to 59, and the south lounge serves gates 1 to 20. Arrivals come out on the ground floor.
One terminal, two halves
The airport operates a single terminal for all arriving and departing flights. It was formed in 2011 when the two older terminals were joined; gates 1 to 20 sit in the former Terminal 2, and the International Pier, opened in 2009, has air bridges for wide-body aircraft.

First floor: security
The security hall is on the first floor, with one entrance near Zone A (stairs, escalator or lift) and one near Zone B (stairs or lifts). The pre-bookable Express Lane is at the Zone B entrance only. If you arrive by train on the first floor, go down to the ground floor to join the queue. Liquid rules are on security at BHX.
